I have this grotty old fazer, and limited funds to get it on the road. The front tyre is a bit of an each way bet when it comes to the MOT. I have an Angel ST on an R6 wheel, but its a 120/70 rather than a 110. If I use it, will I bust into flames or meet some similar terrible end? Its currently got a Qualifier on the back if that makes any difference. I also have the R6 rear, but that's a 180 so I'm assuming there's no chance that will fit on the fazer.. Thanks in advance

Okay this is serious stuff. My Mrs and me have been wed 34 years now, well really 17 years as I spent my working life at sea. I mentioned the fact that mid September I am going on a long weekend from SW France to N Wales to meet up with some mates from the SX forum. She goes ballistic and forbids me to go!!!!!!!
My response is fuck it I am going. Truth be told I want out anyway. For the last 3 years since I retired from the sea all we have done is fucking bitch at each other. Anyone recommend a good divorce lawyer. I am serious I just do not give a fuck anymore.

Hi Guys,
I am 18 stones gear up and run 36 psi front and 42 psi rear.
Any idea how I can have exact tyre pressure calculated for me?
The Yamaha owners manual say for high speed high load (me) the front must be 2.25 bar (32 psi) front and 2.9 bar (42 psi) rear.
The Haynes manual say 33/42 psi.
Micheline site say nothing.
Any ideas?

Who knows, I might own a 2006 /55 plate Fazer 1000.
Currently own a Triumph Sprint GT that I only bought in June. Lovely bikes but I really can't get on with the riding position, kills my wrists. Thought about rising the bars but apparently they then hit the fairing on full lock. Also, that tank gets in the way of my gut!!
So, I've found a Fazer 1000 on a 55 plate. Looks really clean and pretty much standard apart from hugger, belly pan and heated grips.
Question is chappies, am I making a good choice with a Fazer? I just want a comfortable ride, bit of poke and reliability.
Opinions, good or bad greatly accepted.
Name is Nigel, live in Dorset and a Paramedic.
I've got no interest in meeting any of you professionally please.
PS: Tried out a Gen 2 yesterday. Loads of power, very snatchy with the throttle though, handled well but no way would my mrs like that pillion seat and footpeg position.
