Anyone put extra weight inside their handlebars to damp out vibration, I've renthal ultra lows with RG end weights but there is still an annoying vibration there, I was thinking of kiln dried sand, lead shot or brass internal bar, approx. 13mm diameter by 150mm long. Any thoughts ?

Alright everyone, just got a 2007 Fazer 600 S2 (after the ZX6R I've been riding for 8 years has run its course) so doing some reading round on the forum to see what's what with this bike.
Was hoping to go up to a litre bike but living in London, insurance prices are a joke :'(
Bought it Thursday and rode it home, then of course Thursday night was having a fiddle with it (the bike) in the garage and noticed only the sidelights worked FFS. Spent half an hour messing about with a multimeter on the bulb plugs before going to bed royally p'd off.
Did some googling yesterday morning and discovered the main lights only come on when the engine is fired up. Ah!
Sure I'll have a few questions once I start messing about with this bike!
Cheers.

| Hard of hearing - helmet compatible devices |

Hi folks,
I've a question about using hearing aids - cochlear implant devices particularly - whilst wearing a helmet.
My bezzie uses a standard hearing aid on one ear and a cochlear on the other. I'm trying to help find a solution for using both or either whilst wearing a helmet. We have intercom but it's practically useless for my mate because his hearing devices don't fit under his helmet. It's damned frustrating and I think there must be a solution. Does anyone know of one?
Understandably, he's reluctant to carve bits out of his helmet liner/shell foam, at pain of compromising the helmet integrity and voiding his insurance. What do other hearing aid users do? Is there a blue tooth facility for cochlear devices or hearing aids? Or perhaps a wired ear bud or cochlear attachment that connects in some way to his device/s that can then be kept in a pocket or something?
My mate's been looking around for yonks, and the cochlear people (this was a great suprise) don't have an answer. Perhaps we're missing something obvious?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
TIA, Niel

Right so first and second gears aceleration is fine but as soon as your in 3 or 4 and pull the throttle doesnt seem to have power and then handle bars start to wobble like crazy
can just having the intake manifold craked all way through do this i have order new manifold boots but does the wobble come from engine jumping about under bad compression
any adice would be great
