I went into the side of a lorry that turned across my path on the Fazer, the front fairing is smashed up, forks bent, headlight unit cracked, fairing stay bent and both engine covers cracked. I've managed to put on a new set of forks and the the bike still seems straight.
Now when I was installing the handlebars, I noticed the tank is very wobbly from side to side. I've checked the front mount and rear mounts are tight, and the tank still has the rubbers underneath. I cannot figure out what has changed to make it become so wobbly?
The handlebar got bent into the tank slightly when I dropped the bike as there is a small dent in the tank. But I can't think what's causing it?

Hi all,
Decided to sell my FZ1 (already found a buyer) and so have stripped off my Power Commander 5 and K&N for sale if anyone is interested.
The K&M might seem unusual to throw in, but I've literally only done around 200 miles with it in and so it's practically brand new with no wear to it, so I thought since a lot of people use PC's to map for K&N's it would make a good package to sell together. I was in 2 minds to sell the bike and had bought the K&N, but finally decided annoyingly not long after installing it, so a bit of a wasted purchase but just how it goes.
The PC box is a bit tatty (missing the lid) but everything's there except the Dynojet stickers and alcohol wipes - the velcro stickers are attached to the PC unit but the sticky backing is not very effective so I've advertised it as missing. Otherwise it's in perfect working order. Comes with the O2 sensor eliminator and instructions for fitting.

| Downshift Blipping |

I don't understand why there is a need for downshift blipping either "manually" on our bikes or automatically on varies modern bikes.
Doesn't the engine automatically raise the revs when you downshift anyway to match the bikes speed?
Can someone explain it to me please.

I wondered if anyone knew if there's a direct relationship between the height of a jack up kit as opposed to lowering the front through the yokes. For example would a 25mm jack up have the same effect as say dropping the front 5mm. Thanks in advance.
