anyone got any tips for me?
the bar end weight/slider in my bars seem like they are not in right.
theres a gap between the bar end and the "underside" of the bar end slider that it would sit against. and no amount of pulling or hammering seems to make the weights move in or out.
how do i get these things out to replace with new ones?

Hi, folks!
I am new here and recently got my Fazer (2002, but with square lights)! I am planning to make by myself (on metal turn lathe) sliders. I am not sure about size (length and width) and place to screw on body. Has anyone experienced this, maybe could share sizes and photo?
Thanks in advance!

Hello all,
Just registered, thought it the polite thing to do
Picked up my (FZS) Fazer about a month ago.
Have for a long time fancied a "naked" bike - the Fazer won, after mulling over the usual favourites... Bandits, Hornets, unfaired Sports bikes, etc.
My previous bike was a Ninja ZX6R Supersport.
Loving the Fazer, have already started on some subtle styling changes, to "enhance" / modernise.
Losing the 90's fairing (ok not so subtle), installed a KOSO Digital Speedo, new Headlight, (Streetfighter oriented tweaks)...
Looks a great active forum, looking forward to spending more time here! Cheers.

| Fzs 600/1000 tail and seat cowl |

So I own a 2000 model fzs600 originally fitted with the wide grab rail. When my chain snapped it kicked up and smashed the left side and I replaced it with the tail plastics of an earlier gen 1 with the bar grab rail as the holes are a different size from early to late gen 1.
Now I want to fit a seat cowl and found a bargain one and snapped it up.
But now that it arrived it doesn't look like it fits. Having a quick look seems to be the right shape and light it lines up but the mounting point holes do not. They look further apart than the holes on the bike.
Could this be a cowl for a 1000?
Are the tails mounting holes different on the 1000?

So I figured since there is a lofo for London foccers.
I figured we should have either a yorkshire or northern foccors group to organise ride outs and meets.
Looking on the members map there's plenty of us around yorkshire and the north in general.

Just sold my Fazer 1000 and already miss not having a bike. Took an hour..
Found a 2008 ABS FZ6 and went for a look. All okay I thought apart from the header clamps and nuts were falling apart! I know that part of the engine gets all the road crap, but this was well on the way to falling apart. Any attempt to undue any of the nuts would have resulted in a snapped stud. Poor bloke was not aware of how bad they were. Traveled 80 miles to see it so thought I would have a ride on it since the owner offered. Gutless! I was expecting a nice crisp acceleration but it was slower than my old KLE500. Now when I did a check on the bike it came back as having 79bhp. I thought these were 98?? Was a little puzzled.
