Posted elsewhere but pretty sure it was in the wrong place.....
Afternoon. Been lurking on here for years and always found the perfect solution to any problems I've had. Hoping I can get some pointers on something I'm struggling with. Firstly bike is a 98 fazer 600 34000 milesProblem started with clutch adjustment at lever being all the way out and bite point being hit and miss. Adjusted at sprocket cover - in until resistance 1/4 out and then re adjusted at lever. No difference to bite point.New cable fitted. Not Oem one. (Never again)! Helped a little but then got worse. Bite point is the same when cold and neutral selection fine when cold but as soon as engine heats up clutch drags, gear changes get a bit harder and without revving when stopped it would stall with no chance of getting neutral. So to try to sort I have replaced;clutch plates and oem springs (torqued properly)New oil and filterYamaha clutch cable Degreased and regreased the actuator thing that clutch cable attaches to Still have the same problem of once engine heats up the bite point moves and the clutch drags when stationary. Any ideas??? Thanks in advance Dom

The best I can find, as standard a possible, low number of owners/miles, cosmetically mint! Prefer the light silver one tone bikes with the silver engines but condition is the most important thing. Don't want much, do I! Cash waiting. Distance no object.

hello all. Names Dom. Used this place to sort loads of different bits on my '98 fazer the last few years. Thought I'd better join in. Will put some pics up when I figure out how to.
Thanks for all help so far and the future help I will no doubt need and receive. :thumbup

Hiya fellasm
As per title as usual.
Had a few close calls in London recently following some cnut breaking my foot by squeezing me into the curb so looking at maybe picking up a 400 or 650 Burger with ABS - reason being my feet will be semi protected by the running boards of a scoot.
Handling not really an issue as it will get good rubber but just wondering how people find
a) Filtering ability/restrictions compared to say a Gen1 thou
b) Is a 90 mph m/way cruising speed viable
c) Servicing and reliability costs
D) Typical mpg
E) Better options than a Burger
Cheers in advance for any advice :thumbup

Never thought about it before but noticed that someone else asked for help with a Vlog so thought I'd ask too.
Not trying to do a Vlog so not stepping on toes but a while back I thought that seeing as I commute 500 miles/ week I'd capture all the stupid things we encounter as bikers.
The problem I have is that for some reason I don't really see that much stupidity and after the best part of a year I have about 10 minutes worth of video :'( .so my request is that if you guys use a camera and capture anything interesting would you mind sending it to me so I can edit it into my compilation. Full credit will be given for any clips submitted.
As I'm new to this I'm not sure if you can submit through you tube or if you have to mail them to me directly (PM me for an address) or just provide a Dropbox (or similar) link for me to download from.
For now this is the first good ride I had on the Fazer after getting the suspension sorted out.

And here's my channel page. Not that there is much there at the moment.
