Hi all,
I have a fazer 600 on a 2002 13000 miles, its got a very slight miss fire at low rpm and runs slightly rough again at low rpm. Runs past it and no issue when hard throttled, air filter is clear, carbs have been balanced.
Any advice would be appriciated
Cheers

Hey all, just purchased an 06 FZ6, been off the bikes for a couple of years and thought id get a nice "wee" 600 for a bit of commuting and possibly future trips, my most recent bike before this was a R1200 gs and maybe i should have researched that my wee fz6 is actually heavier!! Anyway I love the bike i have bought, it has 21k miles on it and is pretty immaculate.
Im located in Forfar in scotland (near Dundee) and wouldnt mind meeting up with other owners for rideouts or food runs :lol

So, yesterday I rode back from Campbeltown on the Mull of Kintyre to my home on the Yorkshire coast. About 350 miles over 11 hours as I took the scenic route.
Much as I love my fazer I do have an issue with comfort on a long haul...admitidly it would probably be he same on any bike after that duration.
I have tried putting different foam in the seat and that has helped.
So what is the secret to comfort on long trips? Share your secrets here.....

I have a 2001 FZS600 Fazer which has a sensitive throttle. Twice now I have done impromptu wheelies. I have checked the throttle adjustment and that's fine, just a midges play before it starts to rev. I wonder if the throttle springs are stretched ? It's putting me off riding it out of junctions etc. Any tips or help ?

Ok chaps. I have bought panel wipes, etch primer, base coat, top coat, and laquer to repain the front fender on my Virago. Not done this before, so looking for a little advice. I have filled and sanded ready to start painting. Etch primer first, do i rub this coat down or leave it as sprayed? Whatever the answer, then I apply the base coat, agian do I rub this down before applying the top coat. Same again. do I rub the top coat before applying the laquer. Any advice/tips gratefully recived
