If anyone has a bellypan to fit a 2001 boxeye they have lying about or want to sell im interested in buying it.colour doesnt matter preferably with fixings.

Just after a bit of help as to where to start with wiring up a new headlight, so i sold the original fazer bikini fairing lights n all (to a member on heres friend), i bought myself a new headlight fairing which for the money looks good and the headlight its self looks like it will be better than the original pile of crap.
At the minute all my wiring is still standard and taped up, the new headlamp has 2 x H1 bulbs and only 3 wires coming out of the back which makes things simple for the waterproof connectors i have.
My question is how do i convert the std wiring which was 2 x headlight plugs into 1??is it a case of just cut the std loom and start again, or is there some wizardry to get it working all ok hi/lo beam
well whipped the carbs out of the thou today. when I say "whipped" errr..
aint the easiest set of carbs ive got out. Disconnecting that back throttle cable is an utter bitch lol. bt there out, cleaned up, and after tea I have permission from my little gruppenfuhrer to use the kitchen table and do the carb mods in the warm... JIS scewdrivers rock when getting off float bowls btw..
Hi all, bought this belly pan a while ago off ebay but never fitted it to my Fazer 1000, looks like a home paint job but not too bad. A little bit of cracking in the paint underneath but this cant be seen when fitted, bag of fittings, looks to be all there but as mentioned i never got around to fitting it. £30 & collection only please from Barnsley, South York's as i don't have a box big enough. Sorry for the very small links, fek knows why it happens but they do work. If no interest i'll bung it on ebay in the next couple of days. Cheers. SOLD
Well I’ve used pretty much all the market Oiler’s over the last 20 years, and they all seem to be flawed in one way or another. And being an engineer I decided to make one of my own, ironing out all the faults of previous purchases!
I’ve made an electronic oiler, and it cost me about a tenner! Yes, a tenner! It switches off when the ignition is off, and is infinitely adjustable! I’ve used it for just over a month or so (500 ish miles) and it’s brilliant so far!
I bought an electronic solenoid valve, an aquarium air valve, some clear aquarium tubing, and an old biro! I also used an old scottoiler lube tube which I had laying around as the reservoir, but you can use any old plastic bottle really. It hasn’t leaked, it’s adjustable in the blink of an eye, and my chain has been lubed even in the last months heavy rain!
As the pics show, it takes up almost no room, the reservoir is under the plastics, and the piping is all hidden away.
1. Shows the aquarium valve
2. Is the electronic solenoid valve plumbed into an ignition live.
3. Is the reservoir which can be absolutely any bottle as long as it fits under the fairing.
