Posted by: RogD - 19-04-19, 11:08 PM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (31)

Having done some searches and drawn a virtual blank, I am keen to know if anyone has  fitted lowered footpegs to accomodate a tall rider on a FZS1000? I am 6 ft 6 tall and have a knee replacement ..yes , old f*cker.
Keen to understand what works, AND what does not, and if anyone has any peg lowering solutions for sale???

Dame Emma Thompson joins London protest
Posted by: vinnyb - 19-04-19, 08:45 AM - Forum: General - Replies (54)

I've just read that Emma Thompson has flown in from L.A to join the Extinction Rebellion protest. Isn't it a bit hypocritical to disrupt peoples lives, in order to 'educate' them in the damage they're doing to the world (as if they didn't already know) when your champagne swilling, jet setting, high consumption life style has the carbon footprint of a small town? From what I've read and heard they all seem to be virtue signal, middle class lefties so I suppose she's in good company.

Year 2000 FZS 600 Gearbox Noise
Posted by: garagiste50150 - 19-04-19, 01:05 AM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (11)

Hi Fazeristes
I have started getting a weird noise while Riding. Everything is fine until I select sixth gear. it is a "clacking" noise of which the frequency corresponds with engine speed. If I change into 5th the noise disappears, it also disappears if I engage the clutch (which éliminâtes timing chain etc). The drive chain tension is within limits but maybe a little tighter than ideal. I first noticed the noise when riding in town with my visor open. There is no snatching or other symptoms in fact when riding with my visor closed I do not notice any noises and all seems to be "normal"..
Do any of you have any idea what the problem might be?
All constructive comments would be gratefully received Smile

  Linkpipe

Anyone used the fz6 link pipe on an Fzs600?
I don't want underseat pipes! Just a high level pipe.
Any info would be great.
