I am selling my 600 Fazer due to getting a different job now commuting by car.
It is well used and condition reflects year round daily commuting for 4 years. Not used for 1 year, is SORN and needs new MOT. Mileage is around 80,000.
Slight weep from one fork seal and I will include a new seal. Bike was running rough just over a year ago before I stopped using it so used some Redex and that seemed to stop the carbs sticking open. It might need a bit of love to get it running well. New tyres fitted with less than 200 miles use. YSS shock and standard, nice useful rear rack. Spare set of wheels and used discs - the spare rear wheel had a rounded bolt so only 5 holding the disc on. Wheels that are fitted to the bike are good and none of the bolts were seized the last time I checked.
Would be a good winter hack and should not take too much work to get it running. At the very least a few good parts on there to act as spares for someone running a similar Fazer.
£300 and I am based near Heathrow
Cheers

I only actually need the left hand rail (seat lock side) but will take the pait if need be. I have tried to find one online in the usual places to with no joy, so figured I would see if anyone on here has one.
It would be preferable to have it in DPBMC (in the UK I think that was on the 2004/2005 models) or galaxy blue (which was on the 2001/2002 models)
thanks.

Morning - I made my first few posts in the 'Introduction' forum, and wanted to share these too.
My name is Mark Lennon, and I'm a packaging designer by trade. I also happen to love our fazers. This past year, I picked up a '09 faired FZ1, and began designing my own mirror block off plates. Over the past 8 months or so....I've gotten them to a point where I'm happy, and have began selling them online thru a 3d print house called Shapeways.
I've got a thread made over on the US forum (FZ1OA) but thought it'd be in my interest to reach out over here too. I didn't see any vendor forums or anything, so if a moderator says this isn't the right spot to post, please let me know.
I'll post a few photos below. Some of the 3d design process, some printed parts, and some parts other users have ordered, and painted...
Cheers. Mark

Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. I live in the USA, an hour west of Chicago Illinois. I'm a cruiser guy that's since been converted to the Fazer life.
I started out with a FZS1000 back in 2014, in the fastest blue/black combination. It came with a Givi rear rack and box. I've since done a few things to it: 08R1 forks, the rest of the Givi luggage racks, retrofitted HID projectors in the stock headlights, bar end mirrors, a couple different seats, tank grip pads, Devilsyam frame plugs...that sort of thing.
This past winter, I ended up with a FZ1 as well, with the retro graphics bodykit. It's got a full Ivans package w/PCV, Mivv exhaust with gutted stock header. Soon to replace that with an Arrow header I have in the garage. Speedscreen, with more bar end mirrors, and a few other goodies on that bike too.
I'll share a few photos below.

Is it possible to get a new stick-on vin plate for my fzs1000 as having frame powdercoated and couldn't get the old one off in one piece (i nearly did but last quarter stretched and when it came off it looked like its an overlay on a white background and everything moved)

So what are you guys using to charge your phone's on your bike? Preferably near the handle bars so I can use it as a twat nav. Plus a charger for a camera battery?
I've looked at the older threads on here but none of the links seem to work anymore so some fresh links would be great too
Thanks, Mickey

Does anybody have a spare cap for the large spigot on the air box that connects to the AIS or maybe suggest something I can use to seal it?
I have looked at all of our bottle caps but nothing fits.
As a last resort I will turn the rubber hose back on itself and secure with a cable tie but it is a bodge and not what I like to do.
Thanks

Last years insurance was apparently £184
New quote from them recently was £217
Then i get an email from The Bike Insurer who had my details, quoting me £99 but with £825 excess, for a bike i’ve valued realistically at £1000.
The next quote on The Bike Insurer site was £128 with £100 excess.........sorted.
But i really don’t get how they get to all these different and random figures.......especially the one for £7,407.99, or £8,296.96 if paid with instalments. :lol
