Hi, has anyone any recommendations for a good battery charger? Been meaning to get one for ages but there are so many out there it's a minefield. No doubt some are good and some are crap. Thanks, David.

  clutch lever
Posted by: slappy - 22-10-11, 01:39 PM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (17)

I have always found the reach to the clutch lever on my gen 1 a bit of a stretch. Has anyone fitted one from another bike that is span adjustable?
I know that I can buy a cheap set off ebay from china but I am reluctant to do that as I want the levers to look original and I have always found that oem levers seem to be more comfortable.

  Insewarants renewal time
Posted by: Aegis Bearing Mel - 22-10-11, 12:00 PM - Forum: General - Replies (6)

£331 from Devitt, so I reckon a look around is needed.
ESPECIALLY as the cheeky buggers are set to renew automatically unless I give them five days notice prior to renewal day.
:eek
Ferk that!

So, who are you fine Foccers using this weather for your inswerants?

I know some of you have modified your bikes, have you declared these to the aforementioned robbing bastids?
Just wondering as I'm thinking of tinkering with 'Bee over the winter...

  LAPTOP GETTING SLOWER AND SLOWER
Posted by: DILLIGAFF - 22-10-11, 10:50 AM - Forum: General - Replies (15)

Used to post this type of plea in technical but not found yet on otherwise excellent new site.

Can anyone recommend a quick fix or download to speed up my laptop?

It always seems to be busy doing anything except what I have requested?

Latest trick is that I can type about 5 words before anything appears on screen?
And if I have the audacity to ask it to open something like "Control Panel" all it gives me is a blank screen with a little torch animation???

I run AVG on Windows XP and regularly defrag, cleanup etc.

Any suggestions oh great and mighty readers?

  Fazer FZS600 1999
Posted by: deartrebor - 21-10-11, 11:23 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (2)

I am selling my fazer in order to buy a larger tourer like a Pan of an RT.
Oval Fuel exhaust pipe, Stainless steel down pipes.
Teardrop indicators, the originals were too big. (i still have them).
Heated grips. New mirrors with built in indicators and riding lights. The original mirrors were rubbish, all you could see was your elbows, and the new ones actually work.
Led break light. Data tool alarm/immobilizer.
Renthol handle bars.
New Avon ST Storm 2 rear tyre.
Upgraded Fazer 1000 front and rear break calipers with braded hoses.
Fazer 1000 torsion bar.
Just passed MOT, 6 months tax.
37000 miles.
HAGON rear shock.
Baglux tank cover. The tank underneath in like new.
Rear Hugger. Soft panniers & tank bag.
As you can see the bike is in top condition. A Very Small fault on the seat, please see last photo.
£1300
