  Delkevic end can
Posted by: Fazerjon - 08-12-11, 02:12 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (19)

Can anyone recommend the Delkevic end can, it looks the nuts on the internet pics! Is it loud? Is the build quality any good? Is it still in good condition after a few wet rides? Ive just seen them on ebay for £119.99 with the link pipe, and that seems a fair price including 12 months warranty.
My finger is hovvering above the 'BUY IT NOW' button!!!! Tell me its worth getting.... Big Grin

Can you jet wash the inside of textile kit?

I would like to say thank you to Anoia, Io, The FSM or whichever deity or spirit was looking out for me.
Coming into Torrance tonight and managed to fishtail the back end lock to lock four times and keep it rubber side down over a sheet of black ice.
:eek
I'd like to think it's due to my exemplary machine control, but know fine well it was luck and one of my nine lives has just gone.
Thank you 'Bee!!
Off to buy a lottery ticket now.

Hi Dave

Your first Fazer is doing well, mate ... I took it for a nice run in the sun today.  Wink

It's living in my garage until Fitz moves over here to live permanently towards the end of 2012.  Felt odd at first to be riding one with original suspension ... much taller than mine ... and it felt a lot heavier, too.  Even moving it around the garage I feel the difference.

Am I right in thinking you altered the gearing?  I think there's a 45T rear sprocket - did you also fit a 15T front?

Still only got 7,600 miles on the clock!  Runs lovely, as you'd expect. Smile

Cheers!

Mike

PS.  December 7th, vented leathers, 22c ... yeah, I can feel the love from here.  :lol

  Which can - FZ1?
Posted by: Bracechenko - 07-12-11, 01:50 PM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (10)

Some may remember that I dropped my FZ1 a while back with new tyre syndrome and put some nice dents into my Mivv carbon stubby can amongst other damage of course.

Well, all the other damage has been repaired and the only blemish left is the can and link pipe. I know some of you might suggest that I leave it but I really want to have this bike looking untouched and that dented can bugs me.

So, I do really like the can itself but as i'll be replacing it I thought i'd throw it out there for some alternatives. The Mivv cans and link pipes aren't cheap so I guess the same budget opens the doors to some nice new stuff.

I would want a stubby system of sorts. Something that looks trick and sleek and suits the FZ1 nicely. Not a fan of twin pipes of any sort though. Not overly bothered about the noise as they're all quite good but I expect i'd leave the baffle in. My Mivv can baffle in is loud enough, with it out is sheer thunder and just screams to be pulled over by the fuzz

Over to you for suggestions and preferrably pics Smile

  Negative scanners
Posted by: Jonty - 06-12-11, 11:18 PM - Forum: General - Replies (12)

Hi Chaps,

Wanted to get the views the assembled view on negative scanners - the good, the bad and the ugly!

Like many people, we've got a load of negatives knocking about - but don't ever do anything with them.

So has anybody bought a negative scanner - could you download easily onto the p.c. and then print out a decent picture.....if so, how much and which sort?

All views gratefully recieved as the other 3/4's might be getting it for Crimble!
