Anyone had problems with the above?
My gen 1had a pyramid hugger for around 80k, howver itwas always 'twisted' in that it sat higher on one side than the other even after building up the brake side with spacers.
i eventually had to bin it when it fell apart.
after trying to find some other makes i bought another pyramid thinking that i won't have the same problem and bugger me it's worse.
again on the brake side the hugger is touching the tyre and there is insufficient gap betweek the fornt part and the ceoss bar on the swing arm.

Hi guys,I am in the middle of the above job on my gen 1. To those of you who have done this isnt it great fun getting te top race out of the frame tube....
Anyway all old parts now removed. My question is concerning the new bottom bearing oil/grease seal. The new Koyo taper bearing seems to have its own seal arrangement built in so I take it I dont have to use the old yamaha seal that was at the bottom of the stem? Ie new taper bearing will sit directly on the bottom yoke without any seperate seal?
Cheers N.

Can't find the original, and need a bigger one of these [smg id=383] (3x the size, I can the reduce as needed). White background becoming transparant would be good!
I've tried just making it bigger, but it doesn't have the res to look decent.

I just topped up the coolant on my '99 600 and within a couple of minutes run time it began to dribble from the little circular hole between the cooling fins on offside. The nearside hole stayed dry. Once there was heat in the engine it stopped dripping and when a little cooler(not cold)I started it again. This time the hole stayed dry.It looks as if the head gasket is below these fins so what do ya reckon.Have I got to spend some long days/nights in the garage or what are these holes for. Anyone with previous experience or knowledge of this out there.I'd appreciate any thoughts on this before I get stuck in. :'(
