  New bits

New chain and sprockets arrived today, including a 47 tooth rear, just waiting for my shock to arrive and then bang it all on and hey presto! Instant new bike (sort of), just in time for the silly season Smile .  On another point, a few people have mentioned that, after fitting Devilsyam's R6 shock kit, they noticed their bikes have more of a tendancy to wheelie, is this correct?

  Lumpy idle from cold
Posted by: Bracechenko - 08-03-12, 08:55 PM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (1)

Started to notice that when I fire up my FZ1 from cold and let it idle, it starts sounding really lumpy and the revs swing from below 1k to above 1k and it generally sounds a little bit rough.

Once it's warm, idle is smooth and fine. Any ideas what it could be or do they all do that when cold?

It's got PC3, Ivans FCE, flies mod...dunno if that's relevant!?!

My name is Barry (Scrubz) and have returned to biking after quite a few years, well it seems like it anyway!. Having recently passed my test I bought a Honda CBF600 which wich was promptly written off by some idiot in a Mercedes 8 days later!!!! I now ride a Fazer 600 on a 56 plate, although it was registered in 2007. I would appreciate any tips and or comments about the fazer including any ride outs in the hertfordshire area. Cheers.

  Four Person Tent
Posted by: BT - 08-03-12, 11:53 AM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (3)

Two bedroom pods, 4 person or just use one and have loads of room for your bike gear etc.
Brand new never been used I bought it and then won an auction for a standing height tent ,so it has to go to make room.
Fits easily on back of the bike

  Role play help
Posted by: chr999chr - 08-03-12, 11:19 AM - Forum: General - Replies (25)

Looking a bit of help with a role play situation. I am on a course at the weekend which will involve actors being in my face and ranting on about how i am not doing the job quickly properly good enough etc. I have to stay professional and resist the temptation not punch their lights out.
I would normally match their rant with my own but i am in unfamiliar territory being the passive person.

Any one liners or suggestions how to help.
