What's the easiest way to change the throttle cable?

Do you really have to slide the air box back and take the carbs off?????

Multi-Gauge Total cost for Purchase and Competent Installation
Posted by: know your limitations - 01-04-12, 01:41 PM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (11)

New member and first post so.... hello from me. I have a 2002 FZS1000
I've seen this multi-gauge thingy from the German chap Christian http://cvieth.bplaced.net/ganganzeige_bilder.html and I'm pretty certain that the world will end if I don't get one.
As my username suggests, my knowledge will not stretch to fitting it myself so any ideas on what it will cost to buy and have fitted?
Also, how long does it take to fit?

Thanking you all in advance...

Hi, My mate is selling loads of bits off his crash damaged fazer 600 (Blue). Frame and front end knackered, but virtually everything else available.  The bike had only covered 7000 miles, but has been lying in his garage for a few years.

If you want to contact him regarding something you want his e-mail address is coggans@gmail.com

I think my inlaws wireless router has been hacked, for the last couple of months their usage has near doubled compared to the months before, they only use their computer to access Facebook and send a few emails. (don't download films or music) Does anyone in the foccer font of knowledge know how to change the password/security so we can try and block neighbours using their allowance, They have a homehub 3. many thanks Rob.

Might be working for a German company - help needed
Posted by: moffmeister - 01-04-12, 08:15 AM - Forum: General - Replies (6)

I should be receiving an offer from a German company for a job next week Smile

They think they want to employ me via the German company (and not through the UK Ltd sister company) - I'm not sure (and neither were they when I asked them!) what the UK tax/NI implications of this are?  There is also a question whether I will get paid in GBP or Euros? :eek

I will be working predominantly in the UK (with monthly trips to Munich)

Anyone any experience and/or knowledge here?

Secondly, the whole aim of the job (the one I am hopefully going to get  Wink ) is to manage projects construction projects (waste to energy) in the UK - again they seem to be of the understanding they can do and manage all the purchasing/sub-contracting to UK suppliers from Germany - again I'm not so sure?

Hi all, I have just brought a fazer 1000 2001. I have noticed a slight vibration through the standard handle bars? Can it e cured with replacing the bars? The standard ones still have the weights fitted
