  Wanted: Nearside/Left Footpeg/footrest for 99 Fazer
Posted by: kangastu - 27-07-12, 04:57 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (9)

HI I need to replace my nearside footrest on my 99 fazer.  I can take anything from a 98-2003.  I need the whole footpeg as the part which goes through the gear lever is worn and there is play on the gear pedal.

Many Thanks

Stu

  Riding in Poland
Posted by: b3tarev3 - 26-07-12, 10:01 PM - Forum: General - Replies (12)

Has anyone got any personal experience of riding in Poland?  Looking at riding through Germany into Poland for a look at Auschwitz and the mining area of Silesia  Looked on the internet but can't find anything recent and the ones that i can find don't really sell the place.  Ruts in the roads as long as the M6,  lorries driving at night with no lights on, pissed up drivers, the list  goes on  (sounds just like the UK s'pose) !! Was really looking froward to this but not too sure now.......  :\

Help !!

Just bought a 2001 FZS 600 last week thought I had a gem, only 17,000 miles full service history one careful only just used for parish rounds etc etc.  Hmm bike jumped out of second then won't select first loads of false neutrals, gearbox sounds terrible and to top it off back wheel locked solid during downshift and had to walk home get van and pick the bugger up ! Is there a common fault with these gearboxes ? Am I going to have to pull the engine out and replace the whole box if so are cheap recons available. Would appreciate any advice with this bike haven't had a chance to bond with it yet and now my wallet is sweating.

Cheers  :'(
