I'm changing my standard bars to lower alloy ones.
Any recommendations on which grips to get? My No.1 priority is to get the best ones to help dampen out the dreaded vibrations which are making my throttle hand go numb, but i dont want foam ones.

hi guys, just changed my engine over on my 2001 fazer, everything runs sweet as a nut but the only thing is, is that the oil light will not turn off! theres plenty of oil in there as topped up to the specified amount... could this be an engine management problem or something else? any help on trying to.get this light off would be muchly appreciated

Well I have think I have sorted all the known problems -
I have put a HID in the main beam , changed the sprocket nut ( had to get the garage to do it as I could not budge the original one) and have put the lift kit dog bones on -
just need some sunshine to get out on it now!

Chatting to a few guys at work who have noticed that there is a Nexxus exhaust system on board, they've been asking if the air filter has been up graded, fuel map set and other things. Obviously I have no idea what's been done. Do certain things need to be carried out if the system has been replaced? It's a full system from the down pipes back!

Hi, recently bought an 02 1000. Toured Cornwall and Devon a few weeks back and bike made a great tourer. Really like the perfomance and found it reasonably comfy. Running it in standard trim - it's quite pleasant to have a quiet bike for a change - my previous bike was a Harley and was tiring on a long run. All in all I'm well pleased with it and intend to hold onto it for quite a while.
Thanks
Ivor

Well managed to do a oil and oil filter change today on my fazer, which was a nightmare as the front headers arnt standard and dont allow the spin on oil filter to come out so had to remove the headers which every nut was solid,so one can of wd40 sorted them and alot of care
One stud was already broken so the fazer is booked in the garage to have that tapped and re-stiuded
2 Reasons for the oil change.......A:The filter was badly corroded(no wonder no one wanted to change it with the headers having to come off )
B:To try and stop the clutch slipping like hell, but no joy in that,so new clutch plates need to be fitted.
Joys of biking i guess
