If anyone has thought about fitting a pinlock insert to a full face helmet I have just purchased and fitted one to my Shoei helmet. It comes complete with kit for diy fitting, includes template for drilling holes, a drill bit and 3 pinlock pins ( 2 to be fitted and one spare) Price including postage £19.99. Would recommend this item and dealer. Bought via ebay. If anyone is interested reply to this thread and I will try and link the item for sale. Most other dealers I googled wanted anything up to £29. for the same item. Regards Mike

filtering along shaftesbury ave today and came up to a wicked sounding fzs600. think it was an arrow pipe? follewed the rider a little while enjoying the noise and the got a look at the bike side on. WOW! a black really clean and tidy example with a wicked paint job. classy. so...i got level with the rider and said what a great bike he had then asked him if he was a foccer. AND HE FOCCIN WAS!!!! :thumbup nice to meet u fuzzy. some of us r planning a ride on the first sunday in feb. u r welcome to join us.

I have signed up for a charity ride around London and covers 100km's, this starts in the dark and ends in the morning.
Difference being the engine is me but is still on 2 wheels, my mountain bike and will be with about 2000 others doing the same starting at different times and places.
I am doing all this for The Bike Experience, the charity that I am a helper with and the one where we help disabled riders get back in the saddle and ride motorbikes again.
All the details about the ride and the charity can be found here
https://www.justgiving.com/Danny-Snook
I would appreciate any donations to the charity and towards my stupidity, those that know me will understand this is outside of my comfort zone, that zone is normally the sofa :rolleyes

| Temperature & Clutch Lever? |

Is there a temperature gauge somewhere on the FZS 1000 that I just can't see, or is knowing when the bike is warmed up just a bit of a hit and miss affair? Way I'm doing it at the moment is to just pull the clutch lever in and see what the revs are at, trying to keep it at about 1500 for about 5 minutes and then knocking it down?
Also, is there a clutch lever off another bike that will fit the FZS, but be adjustable like the brake lever? It seems abnormally far away, and I find I'm having to pull it with my fingertips, rather than my fingers, which I don't like at all! Don't really want a set of aftermarket levers though at the moment!
