Early days yet but having a squint at the website it's impossible to book 4 or 5 motorbike and one 4 or 5 berth cabin between you online. It wants to charge you all individually as having a 2 berth cabin each.
Anyone had any joy booking a group on this crossing ?

Just thought I'd pop a note down - there's an FZS 600 down my local bike shop that's been there for a couple of months. It's silver, black and red. Has a Scottoiler, new chain and sprockets, and tyres in good nick. The dealer is asking £1350, but is certainly open to good offers.
The bike shop is Twist & Go in Hatfield (Herts), 01707 274457

Close to home last night, riding in a blizzard, the lights went out, all of them except the brake light. This was the 20A fuse under the seat. Replaced, fired her up, all okay. Turn ignition switch on this morning and zilch, the 30A main fuse had pooped. Checked things and replaced that, and all fine again. The really odd thing is I need to adjust the play on the clutch lever, and for the life of me I can't understand how that would have moved overnight. I'm thinking some dampness got in somewhere as never had electrical issues. The lights are not overly bright and thus pointing to a regulator issue, so will need to monitor it and see what happens.

Right boys and girls,
I am planning a trip with a mate for September this year. To give you a flavour of the trip, we are getting the ferry for Newcastle to Amsterdam, heading down the rehin vally then we are heading to the nurburgring for some laps, get it ticked of the bucket list. After that, it's down to Europa park, then up through the Alsace and back to Amsterdam via Belgique. I have never been to the ring before, although have visited Germany many times (10+) and have travelled through Europe, including a 3002 mile, 9 country trip a few months ago.
I was wondering if any of you foccers have been to the ring, particularly on the bike. Is it worth staying in the town, which is about 3 times more expencive that staying 10km away? Are the nordschleife days as bad/dangerous as people say? Is it better to go in the morning/afternoon/evening? Is it worth spending 9 days in my one-piece leathers for 10 laps of the ring? Is it worth getting a lift round first to get an idea of the track, sorry, road? Do you have any personal experience you would like to share with the foccers?
I am relying on the expertise of more experienced riders than I...
Thanks

I feel really thick now, but I need to ask: How can you tell which slider goes on which knee? Unfortunately, mine aren't conveniently marked L and R! Any advice on how to distinuish them?
Thanks!
