All thou i love my cg125 lola alot, i hate being stuck on l plates. Am counting the months till my birthday and my grandparents cough up the other half of my money so i can book my das. The best part of all this crap weather, i've got loads of study time for my theory test which i'm taking in febuary. What's this about?[/color][color=rgb(51, 51, 51)]Simply put it is a 'taster' day for a number of different experiences, run at this World famous circuit by us, The Kent Fire & Rescue Service, the Fire Bike Team with assistance from The IAM, RoSPA and MSV (Motor Sport Vision). It is about offering Bikers the chance to experience differing aspects of biking that are all geared to make them safer/ more accomplished Riders on the road! There are 5 elements covered on the day: Basic First Aid for Bikers, Advanced Motorcycling Theory input, Slow speed control session, Observed Rides (tasters) with IAM and RoSPA Observers and 2 track sessions (novice level). All in one day and all for 50 quid!
It is NOT really for 'track day demons' or Advanced Standard riders, it is aimed at those who have never been on a track, who have never had advanced input or been a member of an Advanced group, we can and will cater for newer riders and the more nervous or those who just want to experience some of the above. Having said that if you are a bit of 'sporty' rider on the road and like speed then maybe you should also get yourself on the waiting list becasue we may be able to help you with some enlightenment!

Hello fellow Foccers!

I've just got some replacement trousers, so now I can try to get my knee down! Previous trousers were textiles, so no sliders. However, I now want to give it a shot (well, once this bloody snow clears!  :wall ).

I've been reading plenty of articles and watching Youtube vids, but thought I'd ask here: a) what speed is right on a mid-size / largish roundabout? and b) I'm a bit worried about the exhaust, is that safe and OK at those angles? I have a stock exhaust, and am 6ft 3.

Any advice / input would be appreciated, thanks! 

After something to lower the bars on my FZS1000, it's got what I'm 99.9999%sure are renthal ultralows on at the moment, and I still seem to be sitting far too upright compared to what I'm used to!
Had a search and it didn't come up with a lot of info for the 1000 other than the GTYR lowering kit, which is bloody expensive new!
Was wondering if there were any other commonly used options available to lower the bars? Ideal situation would be a set of clipons to be honest, if anyone has ever experiemented with those?

Just replacing my air filter. Is it worth putting in a K&N or just an ordinary one, possibly a hi flo or something similar???? Thanks.
