the FZ8 doesn't appear to be very popular judging by amount written in here.
or else where for that matter.
do you guys think that Yamaha made a mistake discontinuing the Fazer 600.
got to admit the Fazer600 from 02/03 were the best.
sure they could of use the same engine with fuel injectors instead of using the R6.
I like the look of the FZ8 but its a bit thirsty and a short range.
the xj600 doesn't seem a lot going for it in comparison.
so what is your opinion.

My trusty Shoei XR1000 is coming up to five years old and I think I should look to replace it soon.
I was looking at the Nolan N85 as my next helmet (it won an award on Webbikeworld for one of the best for price helmets they have seen) but I found some information that mentions Polycarbonate Helmets aren't as good as Fibreglass or equivailant? But when doing some more digging found some websites that say although weaker shell they absorb the impacts better (Polycarbonate ones I mean)
The XR1100 is more expensive but Fibreglass... any ideas if this is tosh? or?
Didn't think getting a replacement would be so tricky! they both score the same on Sharp but one is a third of the price with built in flick down sun visor, pinlock included etc etc

Strange title but I couldnt think of another.
At the end of the year we will be moving to Scotland, whoo hooo ace. Her indoors wants to spend some more time as pillion whoo hoo still good news as that means more saddle time, now for the but.
She wants to go on the Islands which is ace, but when on Mull in the car we crawl around because that way we spot otters, deer, eagles ect, there in lies the problem; if I go slow on the fazer she gets all toastie the fan comes on and roasts mey legs!! so will it harm her crawling for maybe an hour at a time between blasty bits, getting all hot? Is there a way that she wont? I believe it may be because they run slightly lean, is this true? If it is can I do anything that wont harm the fazer and wont harm the prerformance???
Or do I buy a sh&%%y transalp as a second bike (boring)
HELP me please :'(

Genuine Yamaha FZS1000 Exhaust can, has covered approx 10k miles. Has a few marks from storage but nothing that wouldn't polish out.
Good condition as can be seen in photo. I'm asking £50 ono to include postage or discount available for collection from Torbay area.

PM for more info. If payment is to be paid via paypal then it would have to be sent as a "gift" as i'm not overly keen on picking up their fee's!

Anyone fitted the dual snail horns sold by M&P?
I found it difficult enough fitting one horn on, so would appreciate pics if anyone has these horns fitted.
