Thought i would start a post to see what everyone is using as there winter wheels, apart from the car! My mint fazer is locked away for the winter and my current winter wheels is an Aprilia falco with 33000 miles. i was out the other day and turned up at the pub i usually go to after a spin and everyone was shaking there head at me because there was snow and ice... You can't beat blatting along country roads with snow as far as the eye can see on a booming v twin. The roads were clear of snow, as i ain't that mad! What you using and why?

I think my Yamaha fzs 600 2002 may have been lowered by a previous owner but im not sure. Can someone please measure their standard rear suspension linkage rods (between hole centers) and let me know the measurement?Thanks.

Right on Sunday 24th Feb. a meet up at the cafe in the link at 10 am so as if the weather is good we can go on to the coast if not just a meet.

looking at the london foccers meet pictures,i noticed we are all in black no high viz or reflective strips etc...coming back through central london on the way home(it was dark by now) and then out the other side on the a40 and a very busy m40 .filtering at 50/60mph,headlight on,i got the impression cagers were not seeing me until i was along side, :rolleyes :rolleyes :rolleyes  so ive come over all iam`ish and thinking about getting myself a high viz.........your thoughts please foccers

I went out for a run on the bike a couple of days ago. You know how it is, not been out properly for a couple of months. So, 100 miles in and I think I'm VR  :rolleyes ! I know this road well, and coming up to one of my favorite corners (straight, down and hard left, up, crest, hard right) I shift down to "second" gear - only to find I was in second gear. After a bit of fishtail action on the cold roads, I though I would investigate a  gear indicator. I fould this little item on ebay for cheap and thought I would give it a go. Has anyone tried one?
