  Scary filums

Aint seen a proper scary film for ages. Anyone suggest any good ones?

(I like films with a twist and ones that 'get under the skin' rather that simple gore-fests like Saw etc.... stuff like Event Horizon, The Haunting At Conneticut or The Ring are far better than slasher films).

  Hey there!

Been lurking on here for a bit, good resource you have here guys! Thought I'd introduce myself, my name is Jody. I acquired my fzs600 a couple of months ago from my dad who runs iwanttowheelie, wheelie school. Over Christmas I spent quite a bit to get it to where it is now, although,  there are quite a few bits left that I'd like to do, but it'll do for summer riding as I'll probably bin it anyway...  :lol  Also, can't get pictures to upload via iPad? Will I have to use an external website?

  Neutral switch
Posted by: blade023 - 13-02-13, 05:45 PM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (13)

Greetings all, I've been lurking for a while and decided to post in the hope that some kind soul would be able to help me out with my fazer. The neutral light isn't coming on, on the dash, and it's not starting if the side stand is down or the clutch isn't pulled in. In other words, it never thinks it's in neutral even when it is. I was round at a friend's house today, so we could narrow down the problem, and we figured out it was the neutral switch that wasn't working.

By grounding various connections, following the wiring diagrams in the manual, we traced the connection from the dash to the left side starting circuit cutoff relay (good), from there to the right side connector (good), and from the right side connector down to the neutral switch (not good). Bypassing the wire that goes from the right side connector to the switch makes no difference (so the wire is ok) but bypassing the switch entirely makes the neutral light come on. I also tested resistance between the mentioned wire, and it was 0, hence I know the wire is good.

Does anyone know where I could get hold of a replacement neutral switch for my model of bike? 2001 gen1 fazer 1000. I've phoned the nearest bike place, and the cost of a new part is £35, I was hoping to get one for a bit less as I'm skint at the moment. Also if anyone could tell me if I could use a switch from another model, like the r6, r1 or anything. I've seen a few of these switches, and they all look pretty similar. Are they just mechanical switches? If so I'd imagine the only thing that's model specific is the length of the threaded section. Any confirmation or advice would be greatly appreciated.

  Wanted: neutral switch/sensor for fzs1000 2001
Posted by: blade023 - 13-02-13, 05:35 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - No Replies

Hi all, looking over the bike today with a friend, we figured out that the neutral switch isn't working. So I'm looking for a replacement; anything that would fit on an FZS 1000. Thanks.

  Endless chain?
Posted by: Foxwood - 13-02-13, 04:21 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (13)

Hey everyone!

Anyone here fitted an endless chain to their Fazer? Got any tips?
I've got mine stripped to the point where, next I'd be taking the swingarm off. But I'm a bit apprehensive to do it. Does anyone know if it can be changed without taking off the rear shock absorber?
On a side note, i was pretty damn shocked to see the nut holding the front sprocket to be totally loose and only the locking washer holding it on.

Just sent on Monday a motorcycle topbox and rack via Parcel farce to Basingstoke and the tossers have dropped the parcel and completely buffered the topbox ,on one corner hole straight throughout abs plastic but also cracked all way up to the front handle at the moment I'm furious as there's over £300 in the topbox and rack put a claim in for 300 for a box and they say can take upto 20 days to sort out so much for insurance

any riders from the S/Wales area, located at the top end of the Swansea Valley, will be out most weekends, when it warms up a tad, would be nice to hook up with others and enjoy the mountain  roads we are lucky to have.
