Scary filums
#1
Aint seen a proper scary film for ages. Anyone suggest any good ones?

(I like films with a twist and ones that 'get under the skin' rather that simple gore-fests like Saw etc.... stuff like Event Horizon, The Haunting At Conneticut or The Ring are far better than slasher films).

"Martyrs" is well f*cked up as is "Inside", not for the faint hearted.  Martyrs stayed with me for aaaages.

"A Serbian Film" was also a hoot but that's more of a gore-fest
Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines...

"The Strangers" weren't bad -
and Funny Games too (the German one that is, not the crappy remake)

Not really into horror films myself but the mrs says the paranormal activity films are really good.
Dredd is really good though especially in 3d.

I like weird screwed up films, but the human centipede, and even worse, human centipede II are seriously ill films. Not THAT gory, but enough to make you cringe just by some of the insinuations.
Human centiped III is supposed to make the first two look like a disney. Gotta wait for that one though :\
Stop polishing it and ride the bloody thing!!

Human Centipede was the biggest head fook ever. I can't imagine anything sicker. That's my problem, no imagination

Three to make sure are on your list:

28 Days Later
Mirrors
The Descent

All class, watched with the lights off, designed to make you jump without cheap gore to do it with.
I can put three hundred letters in here? Really?  I can dump this much crap at the bottom of each and every post and reply that I do, and there not a stinking thing  you can do about it.  I can also put in a picture you say?  My my, aren’t we generous with the space all of a sudden.  This won’t last

watched "Drag me to Hell" a while back whilst travelling. turned out not to be the best choice when you are spending nights alone in a strange hotel room in a foreign country :\
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - strawberries in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming - WOO HOO! What a Ride!"
