Aftermarket end can for a FZ1 Fazer 2009
Posted by: Streetbudgie - 06-04-13, 12:50 AM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (10)

Thinking about trading up as my 2002 Fazer 600 is showing its age, the only mod I ever really do is a replacement end can as I do believe that loud cans save lives.

Anyone recommend a decent end can for that model?

  Luggage rack Mk1 V Mk2
Posted by: Notch000 - 05-04-13, 11:50 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (4)

Ive been offered a luggage rack for the fazer, the one in question is for a 2001-2003 model, my bike is Mk1 1999, Ive read somewhere that the only difference is the footpegs and  I will need to swap these for a 2001 set ??  that should be easy enought to organise, I cant find that information again now, does anyone know if this is true ???

  Coolant Flush and Replace
Posted by: Skippernick - 05-04-13, 06:52 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (11)

Simple i know, just want to check a few things.
It looks like the lowest place the coolant runs is on the left side of the engine at the bottom, and the highest is a filler cap under the tank.
Is that correct?
Do i just flush it with water?
cheers
Nick

....paint on my Fazer...that is!!

As the Fazer is my all year round hack, I decided (like my last Bandit 600) that I couldn't be bothered to keep on top of all the shiney bits from rusting or getting pitted during winter. So my solution as always, is to sort of "half rat it" and paint all my shiney bits black!!

I also lost a bit of weight and halfed my end can too!!

Thanks for Looking!!!  8)

Had a bit of a tidy in the garage ...
Posted by: Falcon 269 - 05-04-13, 05:58 PM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (20)

When we bought our place in Spain 11 years ago, the underbuild garage was one of the things that persuaded me to buy.  We saw a few show houses with tiled underbuilds and that's what I fancied doing with mine but it's taken me a few years to get around to it.

Since November last year, though, I've been on my hands and knees most days tiling all around the outside of the house and - as if that wasn't enough - I then pressed on to do the garage.  Outside was about 100 sq mtrs, the garage a mere 80 sq mtrs.  Wink

Anyhow, job finished this afternoon - at last!  Big Grin

I doubt it will ever be this clean and tidy again!  :lol
