Having a bit of a declutter: This can came with my FZS600, but I never used it. It's a Micron can, for the FZS600, but don't have a much more details on it. Only marking on it I can see is 'Micron Magnex 53.98' on one clamp, near springs. There's nowt at the end, as it seems to have been Hammerited in black. It's in pretty good nick, needs a good polish, but there is a scuff on one side nearest bike, shouldn't be noticeable once fitted though. Includes clamps and bolts for fitting.
How does £60 sound?
Pick up from East London, or I don't mind posting, let me get a quote.

I seem to have an oil leak behind the magneto. doooh. Is it engine rebuild time to replace that oil seal? If it is what specialist tools would I need to get the engine apart. I'm guessing a puller for the magneto, clutch and starter clutch? Then a valve tool. Might aswell do them if I have to take it apart. Ring compressor, low end torque wrench. Anything else? Parts wise what would I need? Rings, gaskets...anything else? I've done 2 stroke engines but not 4 stroke so I'd be a newb to engine rebuilds. Anyone got any good news for me?

Hi all
Today I purchased my first ever Fazer, a 04 FZS 1000, only had a brief ride so far but very impressed.
At the moment I also have a Blackbird and a BMW 800 ST, I plan to sell the ST and if the Fazer ticks all the boxes I will sell the Bird too :rolleyes Must admit I am so impressed with the weight and because of that the fact that I may not have to lower it (we will see lol)!
My name is Lorraine (Loz) and I am a granny from Poole in Dorset. Hope you get lots of useful info from you, from what I've read there is a vaste amount of knowledge here. My OH Mark is my bike valet and mechanic lol important for a mere girly to have one of those in her life :lol

help...... please
I've got a low mileage foxeye that's not been used over the winter. Battery's been trickled all the time, so it starts on the button, but runs rough. It was all serviced & balanced at the end of the summer and ran beautifully.
The plugs seem clean still, but pulling #4 lead off and there's little change in engine note - significantly less than the others. The leads are doing their thing, and I can't see how a dormant plug could die over the winter....
As there seems to be a spark getting to each plug, I suspect fuel.
I've just put a load of fresh fuel in... no change.
Is there anything else I'm missing?
Thanks
