well I suppose it had to happen at some point !...but my faithful fazer has developed a fault after 5 yrs and 30k miles of my ownership. The first one mind.
Basically I just noticed a blub blub blub type noise up to 3k rpm at small throttle openings. Like a misfire but no backfires, so it seems like a fuelling issue to me. Once over 3k rpm the bike runs fine, and mpg seems Ok too. So I dont think its a main jet issue. I suspect a blocked pilot jet in one carb. Never having touched the carbs I am hesitant to mess about. But does anyone know how easy it is to remove the jets to clean ? I suspect Mike will know in a flash. Is this something I should contemplate doing myself or best to book in to a dealer ??
I hope its nothing more serious than this.

Hi all as a few off you know I was recovered by the AA from the spring meet and the recovery man done a fine job for me my bike was relayed to my home in one go in an organised professional way with no damage caused. I have in mine this story as I report this to you all.

If anyone is planning to join the AA www.theaa.com/patrol/78552 is the patrol mans membership sale site I believe he get a bonus through this and it might be cheaper way to join.

Hi
I have an offer for a Micron slip-on for my FZS 600 2001, but i think it's been used on a FZS 1000.
Will it fit my bike?

Which is exactly where they belong.
I bought Oxford ones 2 years ago because I didn`t want to wear thick winter gloves any more but the first controller lasted just a year and I replaced it.
This weekend the controller went again and would not switch off, I had to remove the fuse to cut the power.I am not going to pay another £30 again for crappy switches that don`t last.
Anyway has anyone tried heated gloves? My hands get cold even when the weather is not that cold.
