  WANTED 2010 FZ8 seat unit.
Posted by: farmer giles - 08-11-13, 03:56 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (1)

Hi

I'm after an un-cut seat unit for my 2010 FZ8. Mine has a rack which I want rid of but the seat unit has been cut to fit it..

Prefer white and in good order but if someone has a scruffy one in another colour i can get it repaired and sprayed as required.

WANTED.... 2010 FZ8 rear grab handles
Posted by: farmer giles - 08-11-13, 03:44 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (1)

My 2010 FZ8n has, what I think is, a genuine Yamaha accessory luggage rack to take a top box. I don't have the box and want to get rid of the rack but I need a set of handles to replace the rack with as the bodywork has been cut round the rack.

Willing to do a straight swap, I know the rack is worth more but I have no use for it, just want a set of handles in good nick to re-fit once the rack is gone..

here's the only pic of the rack I have for now..  can put up some others if requested..

thanks

Anyone out there interested?
Got a monokey rack for the FZS 1000, also got the side monokey pannier rails which I'm pretty certain I've got all the bits for?

  Renthal 758 bars
Posted by: Chris - 08-11-13, 01:59 AM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (29)

Hi all,

It would seem that Renthal 758's are the bars to go for but my question is where to get them from?

I've found some on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?V...0920968084

and some on M&P's website: http://www.mandp.co.uk/productinfo/53960...items.aspx

The ones on M&P's website have a different clamp dimension size from the ebay listing and both bars linked above have slightly different dimension sizes to the 758 bars on the Renthal website, even if it's only a few mm different for most of the measurements...

So, which should I go for/where did you get yours?

Cheers

Chris

I have a friend going to Scotland next week and she asked me if wanted anything bringing back.  She's never heard of rowies, how can I explain to her what they are? All I can come up with is that they are better than cloutie dumplings.

Oxford Sports Heated Grips - For Sale, Bargain Price of £50 Posted!
Posted by: JoeRock - 08-11-13, 01:05 AM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (48)

Hi guys,

Managed to get a job lot of Oxford heated grips to flog on to get some money to put towards my next bike (afraid it won't be a Fazer, I've decided I want another Ninja, I do apologise  :lol )
As it's winter coming, anyone fancy a top notch heated grip at a bargain price?
Forum price of just £50 posted (£15 off the next cheapest off eBay, and it's for a good cause!  :lol )
I've got approximately 25 pairs of these grips, the vast majority are the premium sports grip (with the intelligent one piece new style controller), I've got about 4 of the premium touring grips, and then a couple of the older types of sports grips (which are exactly the same, but have the control unit and relay unit as two different blocks).

Anyone out there that fancies having nice toasty hands over the winter?

EDIT: Did have them up at £55 posted, but managed to find a site online selling them for that so dropped price by a fiver to beat that!

EDIT:
Right guys, down to one set of the plain sports grips left, and two sets of the adventure grips now.

Anyone lingering out there that still wants a set before they're all gone?!
