  Best all round tyres?
Posted by: msewelly - 01-05-14, 11:48 AM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (33)

Hi,

I currently have Bridgestone BT021's fitted but they are running low so I am looking at a new set, are there any other brands that have a good tyre that handles well in the bends but also is suitable for about town?

Thanks

  Engine Paint
Posted by: ajhutchinson - 01-05-14, 09:56 AM - Forum: Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner - Replies (4)

Hi to all, got a problem with he engine paint in the fact that it is starting to flake off.  The bike is a 2002 model with silver engine.  My question is there a make of paint out there that is a good colour match in aerosol form ie from Halfords.

  Fazer 600 Box/Fox Monorack Arms
Posted by: Frosties - 30-04-14, 11:25 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (3)

Hiya fellas,

Would I be right in saying that a Givi Wing Rack/Arms (the pucker rack) from an 01 Boxeye 600 would fit straight onto an 02 Foxeye 600.

Apart from the fairing, tank and a few other bits...the bikes are essentially the same yeah?

Cheers for any advice

For sale - Yamaha FZS1000 luggage rack - Milton Keynes
Posted by: FuZzBoM - 30-04-14, 11:04 PM - Forum: For Sale & Wanted - Replies (7)

Hi all, my Mrs has just bought me new Givi arms and rack for my birthday. As such my Yam oem rack is no longer required.
1 or 2 marks but still very clean and in good nic. all mounts and bolts included.
I have seen these go for silly money on eBay recently so looking for £40 on its own or £50 with the Givi universal Monolock mount attached.

I would rather collection if possible but will sort out delivery if wanted at buyer cost. I use My Hermes and think it will be roughly £5 to post. (will find out)
If you collect would even be happy to fit it or let you fit it if you wanted.... I am happy to travel a bit for a ride out within reason. (also going on a little tour in May doing Whitehaven to Whitby so could meet on way if able to)

thanks,
Fuzz

Need some help to get a box eye fairing.
Posted by: 70s kid - 30-04-14, 08:56 PM - Forum: FZS600 Fazer - Replies (3)

Hi all.  As the title says I need some help to get a box eye fairing.
Visited my local yamaha dealers (John wren) in Barrow in Furness
To ask about the possibility of him ordering me a blue box eye fairing.
This is where the help I need comes in to play. I need the chassis number
Off a blue box eye so I can order my new fairing. Can anyone help me
Please. 70s kid (Paul).

  Waterproof Summer Gloves With Sliders
Posted by: Frosties - 30-04-14, 07:43 PM - Forum: General - Replies (6)

Hiya fellas,

As per title really. Been looking all over but can't seem to find any summer gloves that are waterproof and have a palm slider - the palm slider is a must. I always run with 3 sets of gloves but have recently outed the existing winter & summers due to no palm sliders after fracturing my wrist (whilst ice skating  :lol  but its a similar fall reaction).

If any of you have any experience of brands I'd love to hear the feedback...... or any recommendations you may know of.

Looking to pay up to £100

Cheers in advance  :thumbup
