Hi all, my second post since I forgot about the bike since last time...


My FZS600 RJ02 (2001) has been standing in a cold garage since 2017, battery dead and fuel tank full. I think the engine was completely dismantled and serviced not long before it got put away.


What´s the easiest/cheapest wat to get it running again? I was thinking new battery and remove spark plug covers and "start it" to let the old oil move around before firing it up for real. Maybe I´ll even drain the fuel, I don´t know

Hello Guys.
I have a 98-99 Fazer. I just recently noticed the neutral light and the oil pressure warning light does not come on. The indicator lights and the high beam light are working fine. I have checked the fuse box and they are ok. On the manual it states another fuse (nº8 Parking/hazard lights fuse) which I can´t find because the previous owner installed an alarm, and it´s quite confusing for me the wiring. Could this fuse be the culprit?
Do you have an idea of the issue? Would it be the bulbs itself that are inoperative? How to replace them? Or would it be the wiring?
Any help?

Hi riding home last night lost all electrical power,found main fuse blown and when replaced blows again with ignition off.
I have checked for bad wiring (rubbing wire) but all looks OK,pulled plug off regulator and fuse OK put regulator back fuse blows so think bad regulator, any body had this before any suggestions before I buy new regulator thanks.

Amongst the many bikes in the garage, I have an old (1992) XJ600S Diversion. Its a great little bike for blatting around town and the missus loves it for longer trips out (she rides herself).
There used to be a forum, which, okay had gone quiet, but has now disappeared.
Does anyone know of any forum which may cover said machine?


Thought I'd ask here as both machines have come out of the same factory (so to speak).
