Hi
I am looking for the best way to add a charging element to the bike. What's the best charger and best way of doing it
Ideally I'd like to be able to wire it so it only powers on when the bike ignition is on

More clearing out, found these Givi rack items for a FZS600:
Givi M3 Plate - good nick, including bolts and brackets - more info and pics on ebay here.
Givi 340F rack arms - two pairs, very rough, slightly bent from crashes. Includes bag of bolts and some mountings. Spares'n'repairs, but possible good to someone to fashion a good pair from the four arms. - SOLD!

| Making up a cleaning kit |

So having a faired bike again has reminded me how much of a pain in the ass they are to clean, and the fact its black in places is even worse. So I'm looking at putting together a really good cleaning kit. The best washes, polishes, waxes as well as brushes chamois etc etc
So I thought I'd ask you guys what you use, given that (without sounding rude) a lot of you guys are on the more mature side of things I trust that most of you have been using some of the same products for years so you would have good recommendations ?
I mean I could just go out and spend my life savings on autoglym but I'd hazard a guess and say a £5 bottle of turtle wax is probably just as good as a £27 bottle of that ?♂️
So anyway partly because I could really use the advice and partly because it would be nice to have an actual topic that relates to biking on here ? would anyone be so kind as to offer up suggestions on good cleaning products
Thanks ??

Evening everyone !! Not been on for some time but I have a question. Hope someone can advise me. I renewed the pilot jets on my Fzs600 18 months ago. All good. Now the bike has stood a while as there was nowhere to go during the pandemic and I find just No1 pilot is blocked again. Question is, has anyone managed to remove the float bowl and jet without taking the carbs off .It looks do able but fiddly if I can adapt a screwdriver. I wish I had put Allen screws in. No1, rear brake pedal side. Thanks in advance

Hi chaps some thoughts please
Recently got a fazer as for the wife to practice on as she wants to do her test… :eek
Got it cheap as it was a cat N a few years backfor body work damage… but it has been mot ed for the last four years with out issues
fairing is cracked and grazed but is repairable..
I’m going to respray myself as the paint word is crap
I have taken the fairing off and the bracket is bent (forks and frame are good )
Headlight will need replacing as the the reflector is peeling and the bulb shield cap is rattling….
And headlight are shite anyway…
Question is do I make it a naked or not
Bearing in mind the cost to put it back to standard, and it’s going to be used as a learner bike (so likely to be dropped again…
I know the resale value will be less for a naked but seeing that it is a former cat n I don’t expect to get much for it if a do decide to get rid ..
What is the process for turning it naked… :eek
Headlight, brackets etc…
Any info or pics or thoughts would be greatly appreciated
Thanks….
