It'll be fine

they  will pass HIDs as long as "the beam pattern is correct, what actually produces the light isn't our business" they said ,
or just take it off for the next mot then put it back on  ;)

I just got a set for the car if they are any good I'll get some for the bike £45 delivered.

:lol HOWEVER there is a difference between "legal" and passing a MoT and in either case there are no "reasons for rejection " in the testers manual in respect of HID headlamps providing of course the beam test is passed. So you may pass the MoT  :D

6k hid set up. just need to hide the wiring now
You'll need to keep the old bulbs for MOT, as the HID will now not pass due to recent changes.

:rolleyes well my bike went in for it mot last week and past no problems with the hid fitted to the bike  :)

General / Re: oxford heated grips help
« on: 03 October 2012, 09:00:53 pm »
They're notoriously finnicky about this sort of thing. IF you sent of the warranty card WITHOUT proof of purchase, you would have received a rejection letter from Oxford, so I'm guessing you didn't actually send it off in the first place.

Luckily, replacements are available, so just drop them a line and get a price. You could get lucky with a warranty plea, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Tom.

I know i did send it off anyway can any one tell me where i need to send them back to please and any one done the same sending them back .
