Hi dcurzon, I got the bar risers off Doddsie and they've helped the ride no end, they've made me sit up better but I still struggle wi long legs unfortunately, could do with a couple of inches lobbed off em lol. No probs with cables or owt else, straight on.

Hi All, just a message to say sorry to Adrian ( HarryHornby ) for going back on my offer of my bike. My money launderer (wife ) has convinced me to try a couple of things some of you guys told me about to improve the bike to fit me, once again Sorry Adrian , I'm not a messer and did'nt intend to lead you on bud.

Hi, she does'nt tense up mate, she said the inside of her hip joint near her groin goes numb with her legs being up high i think so I should get on with trying to drop the pegs a bit for her just to make things easier. Just been to me shed to start her up (bike , not our lass ) and she kicks in without a full turn of the engine and sounds sweet as new un, can't get out cos its pissing down here in Dull Hull, its made it a lot easier after putting bar risers on too ( Thanks Doddsie ) so thats eased my problem a bit, next back pegs.
Thanks for your concern Noggythenog and all. Buck

Hi Guys, thanks again for your posts, theyre all great info.
Yanfazman, thanks for the pics and drawing matey , thats something for me to chew over and probably go that way cos I love the bike.
Yamazer-92 , I so realise what your saying cos I have been looking at the Fazer for ages until some money came my way to get one, now I have I dont want to part with it cos its mustard mate,I love it. If you could send me the link for the seat upgrade that would be ace and thanks a bunch. The wifes only 5' 4" bud but still suffers a bit so dont know why, maybe she's sat too close to me, I'll stick her on the box back plate lol.
Thanks for all your advice guys. Buck

Hi Guys, thanks for your help and replies, they make for good reading,
Skippernick, if I put one of those seat pads on for our lass, she'd fly off the back ( good idea really )
Stevierst , I was very close mate , If you'd have offered me a bit of cash it could have swayed the deal, loved the colour by the way,
Alexanderfitu, they know what theyre doin eh mate but i dont think they'll get that much, do you??
Thanks again guys , much appreciated

Thanks Jason1 , you'll be the first I'd contact if so mate, funnily enough I've just had a call from 5 Ways in Hull about the TDM I was after, maybe theyre struggling cos thats twice this week so I could arm wrestle em a bit, they mentioned PCP finance, whats that ? Is it where you give the bike back after a while?? If so what do I do if I want to trade-in cos I wont have owt to swap??
thanks all Buck

Hi CRH, I may do mate, I've been pondering for some time now but struggling like mad to reach a decision. The fazers so lovable ( and very quick ) but I'll have to sort me head out soon.

Hiya Noggythenog, thanks mate and you make good sense especially about the rack, practical but not for this bike eh , I'll give it some thought as I really like the Fazer , could grind a couple of inch's off me legs I suppose.

Hi All, I'm in a right kerfuffle, I bought my Fazer in February and love it to bits and as in a previous thread I said I wanted summat higher ( TDM , Versys etc ) and |I've had phone calls from 2 dealers with bikes better suited to my long legs but they're not giving me what I think the bike is worth, I'm really reluctant to put an advert up as I'm not good at this kinda thing and I'm a bit of a push over when haggling . I really don't know what to do for best as I spent about £ 400 or so since buying it after the initial £1600 for the bike and all I'm getting offered is a grand part/ex. Think I f*****k up in the first place or what????
Cheers guys Buck

Hi Frosties, I got a Motobatt over a year ago now and have had an optimate even longer, would'nt be without either now. Battery is great with no issues as yet and not used the charger on it yet and its on a 97 Diversion 600 with heated grips used when its cold.
