This is normally the only Show I go to every year, but this year we're in the USA for the whole of Oct, so I'll miss it - which is an extra pain because it now means we'll have to go to the NEC show to get a new crash helmet for Liz.

LOL - nope, up in  Connecticut (about 2 hours due north of New York). Florida is flat and has no bends (other than the left turns at Daytona), so there's nothing there of interest to me  Smile

Just watched the latest BBC weather forecast video and it's the other way round according to them. Sunday worst day for Stafford area.

Yep , just checked myself , sundays been the best day all week , now today , cant go today and I dont like the idea of riding 200 miles in the rain tomorrow  Sad  .........a lot of this show is outside and one of the main reasons I go is for the auto jumble which is outside and most of it uncovered , going to keep an eye on the weather and make my mind up in the morning..........

its a shame the last few years have been good ,

still birmingham show in a few weeks and with a few exeptions all inside and i always take the cage as i dont expect the weather too be good in late november.....

Yes that's a shame and also annoying when you've planned for a particular day and the forecast suddenly alters >:

Luckily I'm able to go either day, so shall be leaving very shortly in the car.

Thanks for posting the pics YFF. Nice to see all the marques well represented. Haven't seen a Hesketh for quite along time.

Itook note of the independent weather forecast and went yesterday, bang on, drizzle until 10ish, then cleared and was actually quite warm, pissing down today. Plenty of peolpe there, my gripe is the price of the food, £5 for a bacon butty :eek . Oh, and the fact that I wasted a pound, bought acf50 then found it on sale two stalls further on a pound cheaper. Gutted. Stocked up with the usual consumables stuff, cable ties/gloves etc. Have to admire the workmanship put into the show bikes, but i reckon Ive seen them all before now, and id guess the majority of them never see the tarmac. All in all, had a good day out
