Chain & Sprocket
#1
The time has come for a new chain and sprocket after 23000 miles.
Would you stick to genuine Yamaha or go for an after market setup ?
Any thoughts and advice will be much appreciated thanks.

I would go with OEM if you can, I managed to find a set on eBay for my Gen1. As the Gen2 is discontinued you might find a dealer selling off bits cheap.

Cheers PieEater, found one for £150 posted. It has no washer and is not continuous but think I'll go for that. Washer is £5 on fleabag. ??

OE C & S + Scottoiler = 35k miles.

I have a pattern chain and sprockets from Demon Tweaks (can't remember the make) on at the moment and I don't think they're going to get that far, but the've done 24k.
