Chain & Sprocket - Looney tune - 13-06-16 The time has come for a new chain and sprocket after 23000 miles. Would you stick to genuine Yamaha or go for an after market setup ? Any thoughts and advice will be much appreciated thanks. Bike :- FZ1n Re: Chain & Sprocket - PieEater - 13-06-16 I would go with OEM if you can, I managed to find a set on eBay for my Gen1. As the Gen2 is discontinued you might find a dealer selling off bits cheap. Washer is £5 on fleabag. ?? Re: Chain & Sprocket - Megawatt - 13-06-16 DID X ring Gold with Renthal sprockets. Re: Chain & Sprocket - AyJay - 13-06-16 OE C & S + Scottoiler = 35k miles. I have a pattern chain and sprockets from Demon Tweaks (can't remember the make) on at the moment and I don't think they're going to get that far, but the've done 24k. Re: Chain & Sprocket - Looney tune - 13-06-16 Thanks folks. Bought the OE set, now to look at scot oiler or equivalent. |
