My fazer has been standing for 2 1/2 years apart from new battery and oil and filter, should I just chuck in some fresh petrol and hope for the best? Or any other tips?
Some songs are very very long, but this one isn't !

I'd change the petrol as it's been stood 2 1/2 years, chances are the bike wont respond well.
Other than that I'd hit the start button. *fingers crossed*

drain tank and carbs,also remove plugs and turn engine over a few times,this will empty combustion chambers and also circulate the oil....let us know how you get on
One, is never going to be enough.....

Did you drain the carbs when you stored it?
If not then they will probably need a strip down and clean as the fuel would of gone off in the bowls.

It really should have a general service, including a rad flush as well.
Was it garaged or not, that can be a major difference as well with things like possibly seized brakes?
