fork top bolts/caps

can any one confirm if the later adjustable fork tops fit the early non adjustable  forks ?

I'm sure they do but I believe the internals i.e the springs & spacer tubes are different sizes to later ones,so not just a case of changing the caps.

Correct, plus oil levels are different too.
Personally though, when i had the adjusters on my forks (swapped for older ones) i found them to be quite useless, and had them wound right in at the firmest setting.
Changing the fork oil to 15w instead of 10w will markedly improve the front end feel without a doubt.
More people are born because of alcohol than will ever die from it.

cheers guys i have done the oil springs and emulators but the standard ones were already marked so thinking of changing them but few and far between , but i can get these cheep https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-Billet-...#vi-ilComp

why its a normal socket that fits them
