What are the two bolts on the opposite side of the exhaust from the EXUP cover-plate for?
They are located behind where the internal bush of the EXUP valve is situated.

Daft as it sounds, the bolts are to hold the cover plate and that's all.

I must say I thought these cap screws were simply blanking off two access points so that you could put a pin punch in there to drift out the bush supporting the end of the valve if it needed replaced. I did not think there was a blanking plate on there.

Access to drift out the inner bush makes perfect sense. ![]() |
