Ok, I never opened the 9mm nut packet so never realised. Thanks all.

Have a search on here I think there was one posted a couple of years ago- my bikes asleep now and I don't want to wake it up otherwise it will want to go out and it looks a bit damp out there
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.

Yeah came in the small poly packaging with all the Yamaha logo and info, inc part numbers, plus I purchased the new lock washer at the same time that also came in it own Yamaha packaging.
Yours was probably passed its sell by date  :lol
Same packaging as the photos above in the earlier posts
