Completed naked conversion!
#1
Now, I know this isn't to everyone taste, but I've done this because I like it!

Finally finished completing the naked conversion. Have had a bit of help from people on here that have done this before which has been priceless!

This is how she looks!

Although since this was taken, I have put the wires into some black flexible conduit to tidy them up.

The 1000 seems to look better as a naked bike than the 600.

Looks good. Just curious: why did you remove the fairing? I find bikes without some fairing (and a big top case) rather impractical, compared with the standard Fazer.

Most things done in a hurry need to be done again - patiently.

Yes, they are much longer than I anticipated. I'm going to order some with a shorter stem.

Go easy on me, it is my first attempt! Smile

I assume you are referring to Keith's bike? Mine doesn't have any, just the standard grab handles.

I like Fazers, and I like naked bikes, so I thought I'd have a go at making a mix!

I've still got the fairings and the conversion is completely reversible - can be switched back in a relatively small amount of time, maybe just a few hours. So I can pop the fairings back on if I was to do a long distance journey and need a bit of a break from the wind. But for local riding, I like the feel of the wind! Do bear in mind that I ride only for pleasure and don't use the bike in the rain.
