Rear suspension lift on 57 plate fz600
#1
Hi all.

Has anyone had any experience with rear suspension lift links.
Or what's the best option to go for.
I'm wanting to raise the rear of my fazerby approx 30-40 mm

Thanks John

Unlike the older fzs's there arent any links on that model to adjust the ride height.. they are a tall bike anyhow.. A different shock may be an option but is it really worth the faff?
Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it...

Probably for the opposite reason that, at some point, I want to lower mine, ie he's very tall and it's too small for him!

@Yogi - A couple of problems that immediately come to mind:

1) You'll be changing the steering geometry,  but you're going to need to raise the yokes which might be a bit tricky unless you get a longer set of forks. If you don't, you'll find it turns in more sharply than you're used to.

2) You may also need to lengthen the side stand, otherwise it will lean over further on it than previously, potentially making it more likely to fall over if it's on a slope.

Hope you get it sorted.

Thanks guys.
Think lll prob just add more preload on the Spring.
She's too nice to mess with. ??????

Increasing the preload will certainly raise the rear when your weight is on the bike
