Led indicators flashing too fast
#1
I fitted a set of led indicators  with load resistors for each indicator (fleabay) to slow the blink rate, but they are still too fast. How do i get them even slower? More load  resistors? I have never had this issue with any of my other bikes.. Is this a common fazer issue?
If it's broken, it's not fixed.

Buy the proper led relay, there on fleabay aswell

Is the fazer relay two pin or three pin

I forget now, just get the seat off & pull the relay out to check

I'm out at the moment. I will check when i'm back. I didn't think the bike required an led relay when i have fitted inline led indicator resistors to each indicator.

U need to proper butcher ur oem loom fitting them resistors & I hate that. Keep things simple (plug & play) abit more expensive but a better job !

you can get dual relays which will work with both normal and LED indies .....

I cut the wires close to the harness, so the original indicators can have bullet connectors attached if i want to reconnect them. The thing is i have fitted the inline resistors, but they still flash too quickly. I don't get it? If i buy an led flasher unit, that means i will have resistors for the indicators and an led relay. I should only need one or the other....

You should only need one or the other, are the resistors you fitted polarity sensitive do you know ?

I have tried them both ways round. If they are connected the wrong way round the indicators don't work. They have red and black wires so red's positive.

If i turn the hazard lights on they flash at correct rate.... The relay under the seat is not like the ones in the links it has a connector with 2 pins

The inline indicator resistors don't work, so i fitted an led relay and hey presto. I firstly left the inline resistors in place but noticed the indicators were quite dim at tick over, so i removed them and the flash rate is the same, but they are brighter. Happy days.. Inline resistors in bin.
