Any Foccers in London today.  I'm going to the Imperial war museum for the day.
I'll be the bloke all on his own and reading everything.  No wife or kids with me so no come on we need to move on to the next exhibit.

This has been a "me day" wish for years.......along with a trip to the WW1 trenches in France.

Have a cracking day fella  :thumbup

I'm slightly worried about turning up and finding it reduced to not much more than a internet cafe (science museum)

I did Ypres and Passchendaele a few moons ago, was alone, very eerie, hair still stands on the back of my neck just thinking about it

Those are the two I really want to do Joe, how did you do it? Book on line and jump a train or ride over and pay on the day? I get hairs standing up just thinking about what those poor bastards went through every day.
Those are my principles...if you don't like them I have others.

I took the mrs to work then popped round a mates and asked him to pick her up at the end of the shift, drove down to Dover and jumped on the ferry, had a couple of days in France and Belgium touring the battlefields then drove down to St Marlo took a ferry to Jersey then eventually home.
The Mrs took it quite well lol
Complete fabrication, I didn't make it up!
