Centre stand for Fz1N
#1
Sooooo I got a stand from a breakers on ebay,  offered it up to the bike and there is nothing to mount it to on the rear brake pedal side?
Has anyone got a picture showing that side mounted or aware of what it is I am missing?
Cheers.

Hi
I knew they never fitted one as standard on the N but did read that in the US some guys fitted them with no mention of a missing mounting point.
There is a mounting point on the other side.

So most helpful breakers I have ever dealt with sorted the bracket and bolts I needed and it all lines up great and does what it should.......
BUT I have no stop rubber lol  :rollin
I have a while to sort it as only really want the stand for when I go on a two week Euro tour next June....
Now to take the bugger off again tomorrow..... yep it's a bit of a git  :lol

So what was the initial problem?

My FZ1-s has centre stand mounting points on both sides of the frame. I take it your FZ1-n doesnt???

So where did you mount the accompanying centre stand bracket your local breakers provided? Pix would be good

I had no bracket on the off side, the sandwich type plate came from a 1s and bolted straight on.
The near side mounting point was there already.

Got the same on my FZ1S , fitted an Akrapovic the other week  and it was included in the fitting kit. Nice and tidy  instead of an ugly bracket  welded onto the llink pipe Smile

Hi, I have a FZ1n ABS & have fitted a centre stand no problem. All the mounting points were there to bolt onto, only 1 bolt hole was used for the ABS cable so had to re-route that cable.
Centre stands are a "blessing" on long tours when chain lubing is needed.
..is that it...?
