Good evening guys can anyone recommend a decent disc lock that won't fall apart with a slight twist?

I don't think there is one that's unbreakable so I use a cheap one as a deterrent. Im sure if a tea leaf wanted your bike they would break any lock. :'(

If it's a disk lock ad they wanted it they would just lift it into a van.

I was once told by a traffic cop that all chains and locks have to be breakable to a degree in case the emergency services need to move your bike. (In an emergency, obviously).
I could change my opinion, but then we'd both be wrong.

Oxford screamer is quite good, well made, quite sensitive, but like previous comments they can just lift it in to a van, so used in conjunction with a good chain and lock on a post or something in the ground it is Ok.

Something like Nightfury http://www.halfords.com/motoring/motorcy...-disc-lock

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Oxford-Products-...merReviews I have this one, but took the battery out because the alarm bit is crap. No matter what one you have, all they have to do is break the disc with a nice big bar. Or just throw the bike in a van, as has already been said. The reason I like this one is that it is a nice big deterrent for the opportunist thief.
