Front brake calipers, FZS600.
#1
Newbie with a front brake caliper question that has probably been asked more than once... :rolleyes Are the original and facelift Fazer front brake calipers the same please. Want to refurb a spare set of calipers so when it comes to replacing the original worn pads I can do a refurbed caliper swap.
Thanks if you can help. Guy

Do you mean Boxeye model compared to Foxeye model, if so they're all the same?

They are the same, but there is left and right one:

5dm-2580t-00 and 5dm-2580u-00

Not only fit all years 98-03 FZS 600 models, but also: YZF-R6, FZS 1000, XJR 1300, BT 1100.

And YZF-R1 1998 to 2001 and 2002/2003 but then with golden stars  and aluminium pistons, and TDM 900  Wink

Err...I've just rebuilt my 600, with refurbed calipers. However, my replacement calipers are identical apart from the banjo bolt location. The new caliper has a 90 degree change in banjo bolt orientation + a balance pipe.

This is the old version from the Tundercat and Thunderace.
