So my bikes in bits in shed.plan was to change fork seals and oil on my 99 fzs.
All going ok using guide on here until I just started to refill the oil.
Book states 475 ml with 121mm air gap.
Measured out 475 ml in plastic kitchen jug poured it in but it's way off the 121 mm air gap! ( more like 131mm from from top with tube fully in)
What have I done wrong?am I just being thick?
Is jug not accurate and should I just go with gap?
Is the 121 measured to top of tube or from fluid to bottom of internal thread?
Any idea's would be great as bikes now in bits and need in morning.
