Ivanised?
#1
How can I tell if my Gen 1's been Ivanised in the past?

I've got a dyno chart showing 137 at the wheel, and a very smooth power curve, so am suspecting it has, but wonder if there's any physical way of telling?
If it ain't broke... hit it harder..

That sort of bhp figure suggests Full Monty, so check the airbox lid & air filter first.

Next, you could check one of the needles but airbox lid is easier.

That figure sounds quite a lot even with a full monty. The next thing that nicks a few BHP is the exup valve, unless of course there is a full system is fitted.

Different dynos give different readings though, Stan Stephens one was reputed to be the most generous around here.

All a bit of a dick wagging exercise unless its on the same dyno, at the same time!

Could try getting in touch with previous owner (log book) and ask him/her.
