How many of you foccers have removed the AIS?? Have you had any issues with the engine once removed?

Yes and no :lol
Some say that he eats habanero chilli peppers dipped in oil of capsaicin for extra bite and that his pyjamas are made from Nomex. All we know is, he's called Ad the Bad
Yes and no.
It just pumps air into the downpipes when you close the throttle in order to burn off any partially combusted fuel, it's an emissions thing. So it has no effect on the engine whatsoever.
Take it off, extra weight and harder to get to the spark plugs, no difference in performance whatsoever just a few more dead badgers rolling out of the hedgerows behind you from the emissions.
Badgers are bastards anyway and taste better with a bit more hydrocarbon content, foc em! It's good to annoy brian may the fuzzy haired git.
Save the planet...It's the only one with beer!
Cheers guys!!

You need a good quality tapered tap and cutting oil , I used a small adjustable spanner to hold the tap .
just ordered a holeshot kit myself. Dont fancy trying to get in beside the frame with a tap. the caps look like a slightly neater solution to me :rolleyes :o
Another yes and no, I also used the Holeshot kit.
