I do a 25 mile stint on the motorway to work and got fed up with the BBBRRRAAAAAAAAAAA when on the fireblade, I want something fruitier than std but not over loud

Was thinking of a simmi/SP but not sure about the length, 350 seems the norm

I've got an SP can on my boxeye. VERY LOUD and I run it with the baffle in. In hindsight I would have done a bit more shopping around but it came at a good price, the build quality is pretty good and it looks nice on the bike and was the look I was after.

I run a Beowulf Warrior on my Gen 1 and that's definitely a nicer, deeper sound with the baffle in and it's not intrusive on a ride out.
Yamaha Fazer 'the only bike you'll ever need' maybe ???

Lez, do you have any photos or vids of your Beowulf Warrior on the Gen 1? I have one on my 600 and as mentioned, I'm debating moving it to my Gen 1

The larger the cans internal volume the quieter it will be (like for like) assuming the same 2" internal pipe. A 250mm small diameter SP can will be ear bleedingly loud where as a 420-450 large oval or tri oval will be much quieter with no loss of power. Stick on a small can with a DB killer in and you will lose power to keep noise down.

Looks or stealth, its up to you  Wink

I have a Scorpion oval on mine which I shortened, It's pretty quiet at low revs but you can hear a nice note when giving it some.
