frame covers

Right this weekend stripping bike for winter work etc, sending of plastic bits to be dipped etc. What should i do with the frame covers ?? i was thinking of spraying with Simoniz aluminium engine enamel, has anyone done it or have any better ideas for cleaning/ removing pitting?? i dont want them to be dipped as i have a silver engined fazer and don't think it would look great. Any ideas??

Silver engine here too. Had mine powder coated satin black and they look very good IMHO.

Best on I have but you can see covers. The coating solved the pitting probs etc. Taken at Arley railway station,Severn Valley railway

1 of mine fell off last year , got a replacement from foulups , cost about £ 20 , robbing cnuts . I do like the look of devilsyams covers .

How much u want for plugs luke? Looks like it maybe an expensive month

here the frame covers are painted with the simoniz engine silver and then lacquered. the plugs are colour coded to the frame:

it looks better in reality than the pictures make it look. i have toyed with the idea of swapping the colours round but other projects have taken priority to be honest.
