frame covers - brooker81 - 29-10-13 Right this weekend stripping bike for winter work etc, sending of plastic bits to be dipped etc. What should i do with the frame covers ?? i was thinking of spraying with Simoniz aluminium engine enamel, has anyone done it or have any better ideas for cleaning/ removing pitting?? i dont want them to be dipped as i have a silver engined fazer and don't think it would look great. Looks like it maybe an expensive month Re: frame covers - bludclot - 30-10-13 here the frame covers are painted with the simoniz engine silver and then lacquered. the plugs are colour coded to the frame: and this is how it looks overall: it looks better in reality than the pictures make it look. i have toyed with the idea of swapping the colours round but other projects have taken priority to be honest. hth.
